FM012 Firestop Putty

Installation guide:

1. Ensure the application area is free of oil, loose dirt, rust or scale.

2. If forming is required, ceramic fiber blanket or mineral wool is recommended to use. Cut
    forming material over-size to allow for tight packing, position formingmaterial to allow for
    the proper depth of FM012 firestop putty.

3. Apply FM012 firestop putty by manually troweling.

4. Work FM012 firestop putty into all  areas to eliminate voids or seams.

5. The putty surface can be smoothed using the putty knife dipped in water.

6. In some application including FP-02 or FP- 04+ firestop sheet, FM012 firestop putty
    is recommended as a sealing material.
    Apply FM012 firestop putty on the edges around the entire perimeter before
    firestop sheet secured to the floor or wall.

7. FM012 firestop putty is dried and cured by water evaporation, it is not recommended
    for use in a wet environment.
