INFS0812 Intumescent Strip / SSCI Firestop Collar

INFS0812 Intumescent Strip is a proprietary fire retardant flexible
strip bonded on one side to aluminum foil.
SSCI Firestop Collar is a stainless steel collar intended to be used in
conjunction with INFS0812 Intumescent Strip to tightly seal any
opening that is created as a material is consumed by fire. This combination
will restore the fire resistance rating of walls, floors and seals against the
passage of flames, toxic fumes and smoke. INFS0812 Strip and SSCI Collar
are designed to make installation quick and easy.

Uses:
INFS0812 can be used on any through-penetration items. SSCI can be used on
plastic or nonmetallic pipes.

Installation guide:

1. Release hose clamp screw and disassemble the SSCI-X Firestop Collar.

2. The required number of layers of wrap strip are individually and tightly wrapped around
    each nonmetallic through penetrant and secured together by means AL-foil tape.

3. Wrap strip shall be butted against floor bottom or both surfaces of wall.

4. Collar shall then be wrapped around the outer circumferenceof the wrap strip and
    secured with a steel hose clamp (for  collar width 120mm, use 2 hose clamps).

5. Secure collar to floor bottom or wall on both sides of opening by means of 1/4-20
    concrete wedge anchors in accordance with installation instructions.

6. One anchor shall be placed through each mounting bracket of the collar.
