FP-04+ Firestop Sheet

Description:
FP-04+ Firestop Sheet is fabricated by bonding proprietary intumescent materials to a metal
sheet. INCA Firestop Sheet is specifically designed to protect large penetration openings on fire rated
walls and floors. Firestop sheet securely blocks flame and prevents the passage of toxic fumes
and smoke.

After exposure to 1x10⁶Gy (1x10⁸rad) of neutron or gamma radiation, FP-04+ will
maintain full firestop performance characteristics 50 plus years.

Ueses:

Firestop sheet closes large penetration openings on walls or floors. Used to protect cables,
cable trays, piping, conduit and penetrations of busway consisting of a variety of materials.
Firestop sheet can be installed with other proprietary products such as Firestop Putty,
Fire Barrier Sealant or Intumescent Strips.

Installation guide:

1. When max opening dimensions exceeds 20 in.
   (508mm) in both width and length, two min 2 x 2 in. (51 by 51 mm) by No.10 gauge
    galvanized steel angles shall be installed within the longest dimension of the opening, with one
    angle flush with both top and bottom of floor or both surfaces of wall.
    These angles provide a framing member for an intermediate securement of the firestop sheet at both surfaces of opening.

2. Min 4 pcf (64 kg/m³) mineral wool batt insulation firmly packed into opening
    as a permanent form to completely fill  the annular spaces between and around
    the penetrants within the opening.
    Packing material to be installed flush with both surfaces of floor or wall.

3. FP-04+ Firestop Sheet with intumescent bonded layer exposed.
    Sheet cut to an overall rectangularsize such that it overlaps the floor or wall
    around the periphery of the opening by min .
2.in. (51 mm). Sheet cut to fit the contour of the through penetrants within the opening.
   Sheet applied to both sides of floor or wall.
