FP-02 Firestop Sheet

Description:
FP-02 Firestop Sheet is fabricated by bonding proprietary intumescent materials to a metal sheet.
INCA Firestop Sheet is specifically designed to protect large penetration openings on fire
rated walls and floors.
Firestop sheet securely blocks flame and prevents the passage of toxic fumes and smoke.
After exposure to 1x10⁶ Gy (1x10⁸ rad) of neutron or gamma radiation, FP-02 will
maintain full firestop performance characteristics 50 plus years.

Uses:

Firestop sheet closes large penetration openings
on walls or floors. Used to protect cables, cable
trays, piping, conduit andpenetrations of busway
consisting of a variety of materials.
Firestop sheet can be installed with other
proprietary products such as Firestop Putty,
Fire Barrier Sealant or Intumescent Strips.

Installation guide:

1. Apply INCA Firestop Putty FM012 or INCA Fire Barrier Silicone Sealant INSS2460 around the perimeter of the opening. 

2. Firestop Sheet to be installed to lap a minimum of 2 in. (51mm) on all sides of
    the through opening and with the aluminum foil facing against the surface of the
    floor (galvanized steel plate side outwards). 

3. Sheet to be secured to the top surface of floor using min 3/16 in. diam by 1-1/2 in.
    (5 mm by 38 mm) long steel expansion bolts in conjunction with min 1-1/4 in.
    (32 mm) diam steel fender washers.
    Max spacing of fasteners not to exceed 6 in. (152 mm) OC.

4. All wall openings require a cover sheet of FP-02 Firestop Sheet
    and putty/sealant on both sides of the wall.
